Indore Public School has a well equipped library, with ample number of volumes for students to browse from including books, videos, DVD’s, CD’s, subscription to 5 periodicals which are added to continually. The Prime objective of our Library is to make it as Learning Resource Center.

The library also provides students and teachers with a range of reference books, encyclopedia, journals and newspapers, and internet facilities to enrich their classroom activities and knowledge.

All new books are arranged on a display table in the library for a month and reviews put up on the Notice Board. Our specially trained Librarian organizes the Library Week with book readings, designing book jackets & book marks and writing book reviews.

Realizing the importance of developing soft skills among students, we have well-designed and separate computer labs for kids and older children, run by a well-educated and qualified faculty, with one-on-one access.

We have invested in new ERP software which would further raise teaching-learning-working at Indore Public School - Sanwer to contemporary technological standards. There are 65 computers in our labs currently. We use our LAN with Windows XP for teaching-learning, documentation, and presentations.

Our Labs helps students with observation, hypothesizing, and experimentation which are a crucial part of development in the field of Natural Sciences. The School has well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students are encouraged to use these laboratories to learn through experiments. The labs have interactive spaces that allow children to grow laterally providing the necessary environment outside the classroom.

Indore Public School has a specialized Math Lab. It is a place where students can learn and explore various mathematical concepts and verify various mathematical facts and theorems using the variety of activities. It is well equipped with necessary kits and tools and provides an opportunity to the students to understand and internalize the basic mathematical concepts through concrete objects and situations. The aim is to provide greater scope for individual participation in the process of learning and becoming autonomous learners.

Developing physical fitness through a program in collaboration with KSR SportSeed, we aim to create a sporting nation by creating a physically literate generation and spreading the spirit of Olympism that engages the entire ecosystem – schools, parents, communities and policymakers

We believe that the Olympic values can nurture the spirit of brotherhood, peace, and tolerance in children/youth by blending sports with culture and education. The programs are tailored to deliver these life values in children/youth and encourage them to participate in sports. Our approach is to incorporate three core domains of learning through sports:

The Extramarks Solutions is a partner of the school and provides India’s Largest Content Library in the form of hi-definition audio visuals on various topics. Smart class is transforming the way teachers teach, and students learn in school.

At Indore Public School - Sanwer , we have AV rooms that are equipped with smart class connection, display boards, aesthetic furnishing, projectors, and lockers. In addition, a high-speed broadband connection facilitates an easy access to any required information. The classes are also connected with the Knowledge Center to make things streamlined. In such a hi-tech classroom, it becomes easy for our teachers to derive even the most complex chapters or concepts from easy illustrations, presentation or animated videos. Robots are capable of amazing things. Some can fly like insects, clean homes, detonate bombs, and even explore distant planets. At Indore Public School - Sanwer , an ambitious plan has been put in place to prepare students to create some of their very own robots. Here, the focus is not on the robots but their creators – the students.

Teaching Robotics is about empowering students to create and configure robotics devices and program computers to nurture in students the skill sets necessary to play an active role in society. From idea to working prototype, we engage our students in practical and open-ended engineering challenges with problem solving. The two main pedagogical learning approaches that have taken root in Robotics are learning- by-doing and construction-ism.

The Robotics approach takes into account the increasing popularity of Computer Science and the learning by doing approach to solve complex problems and use computers meaningfully in learning.

In Robotics students learn problem-solving and critical thinking skills as they design a robot in teams. Students engage in practical tasks which include designing, building, programming and testing.

For many students, it can prove to be delightfully challenging to build a moving vehicle from scratch to perform a series of elaborate maneuvers, which include picking up items and dropping them in designated places. Through these tasks, students learn how to think systematically and analytically to solve a problem.

To enable conceptual and procedural knowledge of Maths, the school has successfully implemented Funtoot Program by E- dreams Edusoft Pvt. Ltd. in the Maths Lab. Additional to Funtoot, a revision program of DEXA, also been introduced which may be accessed by students from home also.

Steering with Safety and Security

The school owns a modern fleet of buses that are regularly serviced and upgraded and run through almost a radius of about 50 kilometres in and around Sanwer (District Indore).

We have “stop to school” facility not “door to school”. We are as concerned as you are about the safety of children, and ensure secure commuting experience.
